Nurse Directors, Managers, Supervisors, Educators, and those interested in leadership, or who are informal leaders. It is offered as a private seminar, and for organizations to develop and strengthen nurse leaders for success as transformational leaders.
The work environment holds special challenges for today’s nurse leaders. Expectations of excellence in patient outcomes, organizational stress, fiscal accountability, staff satisfaction and retention, while maintain healing environments can make for competing, and often conflicting priorities. While much of the discussions have centered on direct care nurses, nurse leaders are continuously confronted with stress, and are often emotionally, physically and mentally depleted. Leader burn-out is real, and compromises the well-being of self and staff, and patient outcomes.
The purpose of this eSsential Nurse Leadership Pathway is to develop and strengthen nurse leaders for success through the principles of transformational leadership, authenticity, leadership resilience, and modeling the way through authentic practice.
